Spoken word artists are setting the world on fire as they put poetry back into the forefront. These poets wear their heart and their courage on their sleeves as they discuss a range of topics, like love, heartbreak, politics, and abuse. Simply put, they talk about life- the good and the bad. And no matter what, they pour out personal emotions and views on a stage to total strangers. How many of you can do that?

One poet who is making her mark is our very own Kim Jones who is the author of “Ideas Echo Like Acoustics: lyrical poems from the soul”. We are very excited about presenting her book that allows people to look at life, society, and the world through her eyes and words. This book has been in the works for several years. It was finally completed when she had written the poem, Angel- A Life, which is dedicated to her best friend and former business partner, Angela Square. Kim explains, "To be honest, the book has been completed for years, but I had fear and doubt holding me back. The passing of Angie showed me I needed to just do it. I needed to embrace God's gift to me and share my work.
